Shipping & returns.

DELIVERY

All shipping within the UK is free and we use Royal Mail Special Delivery, FedEx or another courier of our choosing.

International deliveries cost a fixed price of £35 and are handled mostly by FedEx or another courier of our choosing. Please note that all sales out of the United Kingdom may incur taxes or duties…..so please be aware that ALL RELEVANT TAXES AND CUSTOMS DUTIES ARE THE PURCHASER’S RESPONSIBILITY. Depending on your location these extra costs come after you have paid for the watch.  We shall not pay towards the cost of importing at any time. We also have no responsibility for delays of packages at your country’s customs facilities.

All packages will be fully insured for the full purchase price which will also be on the customs form (without exception) and will only be sent to the registered buyer/cardholder’s billing address. We will not post to PO Boxes or Pack Stations.

All parcels can be tracked as we will send you the tracking details by email. Please make certain someone is available to receive your parcel or shipping charges may be incurred after three delivery attempts.

Items will ship from the UK within 2/3 business days upon receipt of payment unless notified otherwise.

RETURNS & GUARANTEE

The UK Consumer Contracts Regulations state that you can return an item (e.g watch) for any reason you want as long as you notify us within 14 days of receiving the goods.  If this is the case, please note that the cost of returning items is the responsibility of the purchaser and must be returned using fully insured and trackable postage; please also retain proof of postage. Refunds will not be paid until the item has been returned and checked by us.

Any refunds will only be issued by us in Pounds Sterling. We do not accept liability for fluctuations in the exchange rate, which may affect any refund if you are based outside the UK.

We want you to be really happy with your purchase, but if a mechanical fault does occur with the watch within the 3 month warranty period (or unless otherwise stated in the watch’s description), please return to us by tracked and fully insured shipping - which we will refund. We will not accept repair costs in your country. We will repair, free of charge, the watch if possible or refund you the purchase price, but please be aware that repairs from our UK network of watchmakers can take up to 12 weeks.

The Purchaser is responsible for any and all charges, taxes or customs duties that might be associated with returning your watch.

Please do not attempt to repair the problem yourself, as this may invalidate the warranty. Watches purchased from a ‘Trade Stand’ (watch fair or antiques fair) do not come with a mechanical warranty and are sold as is.

The exclusions to the guarantee include water ingress, damage, misuse and any issues relating to original straps. The warranty only covers mechanical defects. This does not cover loss or theft of the watch. The warranty does not cover the exterior of the watch including the crystal, case, bracelets, bezel, straps, or crown.

Returns policy in more detail.

1. In certain circumstances we offer a full refund on goods returned to us within the appropriate timescale and in accordance with this policy.

2. There are different criteria and different time-periods within which you can return goods depending on whether the goods were purchased “On-Premises” or it was a “Distance Purchase”.  See below for further details.

3. The policy only applies where the purchaser is a “Consumer”.  A “Consumer” means an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.

4. For the avoidance of doubt where the purchaser is not a Consumer this policy shall not apply and the non-Consumer purchaser shall not have the rights contained herein.

5.This policy is in addition to your statutory rights, which are not affected.

7.1 Unwanted goods may be returned within 14 days for a refund or exchange if they are returned unused and in their original condition.  Returns must be made with proof of purchase. With regard to On-Premises Purchases there are certain goods to which the right to return do not apply and these are set out in clause 8.

7.2 For goods purchased On-Premises you are obliged to return the goods to the premises at which you purchased them.

7.3 We will inspect all goods upon return. The removal of labels, price tags or security tags will be taken as evidence of your use of the goods, and the goods cannot be returned in these circumstances. If through your handling the goods have decreased in value, we may decline to accept the return of the goods and to issue a refund [or may, at our discretion, deduct a reasonable amount of such loss from the amount reimbursed to you].

8.  Refunds will be provided in the original form of tender.

9.  Refunds and exchanges on purchases made on an event day or with other promotional discount will be calculated at the reduced price.

This is what is meant by a “Distance Purchase” in this policy.

13. With regard to Distance Purchases under the Regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order up to 14 calendar days after the day on which you receive your goods, with the exception of goods mentioned in clause 17 below.
